Welcome to California Psychology and Wellness, where we understand that even the most capable and high-achieving parents can feel overwhelmed by the demands of pregnancy, postpartum life, and the constant pressure to “do it all.” Stress, worry, and perfectionism don’t just affect your mood—they drain your energy, impact relationships, and make it hard to be present in the moments that matter most.

We believe deeply in the power of authentic human connection to help you recover, restore, and thrive. Our clinicians provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, breathe, and refocus. We’ll both encourage and challenge you—helping you move through the difficult emotions, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with your sense of self.

We specialize in supporting parents facing anxiety, depression, burnout, identity shifts, life transitions, and relationship stress, guiding you toward resilience, clarity, and empowerment.

We treat an array of difficulties including anxiety, depression, postpartum anxiety or depression, adjustment/life transitions, and relationship problems. Although we focus on working with high achieving people, we are available to serve individuals above and beyond these community.

  • High Achieving Professionals

We respect individuals who are passionate, disciplined, and driven- but sometimes the same qualities that make you successful also lead you to suffer from perfectionism, disconnection, and/or burnout. Whether you are a physician, entrepreneur, executive, or athlete, we can help you:

    - Lessen the stress of constant performance pressure

    - Reconnect with personal meaning and joy

    -Prevent or decrease burnout

    - Continue to excel- without dismantling your well-being

  • Perinatal Care

Although transitioning into parenthood can be one of the most exciting moments in life, it can also be overwhelming and unpredictable. Our clinicians can help you create a space to process feelings that are less talked about- the good, the bad, and the ugly. Our goal is to help you during this period of change and adjustment.

    Together, we’ll help you:

    - Manage anxiety, guilt, and overwhelm

    - Build confidence in your role as a parent/mother

-Improve communication with partners and loved ones

-Prioritize self-care so you can show up fully for your family

  • First Gen Individuals

Whether you are a first generation college student, first generation in a specific profession, or first generation in the United States, bridging the gap that can exist across cultures, groups, and generations can be difficult. We are here to help you process feelings of tension, guilt, frustration, or confusion that may come with being the first in your family to experience a momentous milestone in life. Additionally, feelings of “imposter syndrome” may rise and we can address them together.
